We also offer photo editing and video editing with voice narration voiceovers (examples available). Videos subtitle language translation. Replacing Spanish with English subtitles and vice versa. Other languages also.
Commercial UAV (Drone) operations take place within the NAS (National Airspace System) in two types of flight environment, within Controlled Airspace, this is generally within a 5 nautical mile radius of towered airports. The second type of environment is Uncontrolled Airspace (Class G) everywhere else excluding special use airspace.. When operating within controlled airspace we need adequate advance notice. Operating within uncontrolled airspace is less complicated and can be done with a relatively shorter notice.
Note: Generally, the controlled airspace surrounding rural towered airports become uncontrolled airspace (below 700’) if the control tower is not in operation. There are exceptions where the surrounding environment might remain (Class E) controlled airspace even with a non-operational tower. (We can make that determination)
A minimum of 3 miles flight visibility and generally wind speeds of <= 19 knots (21 mph), higher with the Inspire, about 21 knots (25 mph) is required for us to fly. We will not operate in weather conditions that might adversely affect our flight environment or significantly restrict the aircraft's ability to maneuver safely, operating wind speed might be decreased based on the mission, for example during real estate videography, the tolerable wind speed for acceptable footage might be less than 10 knots. Area of operations also dictate maximum operable wind speed, in a wide unobstructed area higher wind speeds can be tolerated. We currently fly the DJI Phantom 4, Inspire, Mavic, Matrice and the Yuneec H . We use DJI brand intelligent flight batteries for missions, with DJI aircrafts. These and other risk mitigation factors and flight rules are outlined in our established operating procedures and flight standards manual.
"Strudwick Commercial Drone Operations was great to work with. From the moment he applied for the job until after it was after, Strudwick was communicative, courteous, adaptable, and most of all delivered a great product. Actually, Strudwick delivered even more than I asked for, sending along with a whole portfolio of shots from the job, along with a video with my company's name on it. If you are looking for drone services in this area, hire Strudwick Commercial Drone Operations, you will not be disappointed!"

Great visual observer, his private pilot airspace knowledge came in handy. We felt safe with him on our team. He monitored traffic in the vicinity, helped us identify the limits and remain out of adjacent controlled airspace".

Here are some of the areas where drones can be utilized in construction right now:
EARTHWORK: An aerial image showing large areas of construction earthwork. We have to ability to capture massive areas of construction in one shot. Connect with us to document massive areas of earthwork or tree removal progression.
INSPECTION
Inspection is rapidly becoming an integral part of the sUAS industry. Drone inspections are being performed in almost every industry that requires visual inspections as part of its maintenance procedures. By using a drone to collect visual data on the condition of an asset, drone inspections help inspectors avoid having to place themselves in dangerous situations. Drone pilots primari

A concise flight during the final phases of construction is an effective method of gaining a comprehensive look of the entire worksite. This type of information can be utilized when updating investors, banks and other interested entities. (The second phase of this SE Georgia development will be townhomes, they are in their initial stages)
Big picture video showing superstructure and overall worksite progress. Great clip for interested parties such a developers, investors project managers or the general public. Regardless of the shape of your worksite, we can do a similar flight to show your worksite progress. Aerial videos and photos have become one of the most effective tool that project managers can utilize when updating their head office as to progress on a particular project. Here is the second worksite construction progression video showing building earthwork progression. This particular video was done on a windy day, we were operating in class Charlie controlled airspace close to an airport with a low allowable maximum altitude, below the 45° downwind entry. It was very challenging to keep the aircraft just above the trees for the specific shots desired by the project manager, while coping with the strong wind and not exceeding our maximum allowable altitude.

When your property's best feature is a water body close by, it is imperative that this feature is showcased to the max. An aerial video is pretty much the only way to simultaneously show the property and any waterbody close by. This is an example of the type of aerial perspective that is necessary for your Real Estate listing.
Looking at Building Pad and Superstructure Progression at my challenging worksite. Why challenging?. There are high tension power lines, cell towers and powerline towers around the worksite. Even when above them it appears that you are going to fly right into them when viewing the controller display. Vertical (altitude) or horizontal deviation cannot be tolerated, for safety reasons only well experienced professional drone pilots should fly in this type of worksite environment. Its even more critical when the air mass is unstable (windy with downdrafts/windshear), aircraft placement throughout the operation becomes extremely important. While operating in or close to an unstable air mass, drone pilots have to anticipate the possibility of vertical/horizontal windshear in their area of operation. Especially when operating in this type of obstacle filled environment.

Aerial video documentation is one of the most effective method to keep an eye on the various aspects of construction while in the vertical stages of building. Contact us to begin your worksite documentation of pre-construction and construction stages of your project. We can have this type footage along with photos, edited and uploaded remotely from the worksite to your office on the same day.
An aerial survey flight allows you to see the worksite in it's entirety, you can often observe features or spot anomalies that might not be noticeable at ground level by someone on foot. This can be done for various construction applications in order to effectively inspect workmanship and track work progression . Connect with us so we can develop your unique flight for aerial surveying.

This is a quick illustration of an inspection session. Most inspection photography has to be done in unfavorable wind, the average wind speed in Florida ranges from 23 mph in Osceola to 17 mph in Volusia (14.5 knots), we very seldom have favorable wind days. (Try keeping your drone zoomed in close and framed for a photo on an object in 17 mph winds) As you will note the aircraft is almost never stable, whenever the camera is zoomed in, the slightest movement of the aircraft can throw your framing off, it requires excellent piloting skills to produce acceptable inspection photos in a reasonable amount of time.
A remote pilot capturing inspection photos is not just a photographer with a drone, it takes very good pilot skills and photography knowledge to accomplish the task as camera setting might have to be frequently changed based on lighting at the time of photo capture. Lighting is very frequently inconsistent especially on sunny days with a lot of clouds. Wind direction must be determined, distance from asset should be monitored at every point during a shoot, you don't want your aircraft ending up smashing into an expensive asset. Look at the wind at the surface just prior to the end of this video, winds aloft are generally stronger.
Drones Reduce Risks considerably and can save lives during the inspection process. They can assess the condition of components on a cell tower from the air using various altitudes and angles. Inspectors can then watch the footage on a monitor, mobile phone or tablet from the ground. This eliminates both the risk of climbers falling and the risk of tools being dropped and endangering someone's life. It also minimizes exposure to hazardous radio frequency (RF) radiation. The drone itself is protected from damage through collision avoidance and geofencing. Drone cell tower inspections minimizes the risk of costly damage to the cell tower and expensive equipment. More footage and photos to come. Additional inspection footage (featuring video stills) can be viewed here: https://youtu.be/6TYG_ef2q2I
This superstructure inspection video features extracted stills. At certain points predetermined by the client, stills are extracted from the frozen video footage (freeze duration of the video can be extended per request). This can be done for any inspection, roof, structure, property, building or just any object. A Roof Inspection video can be viewed here; https://youtu.be/9Yuhs06Op2g
